Project type

The team sought a new location better suited for the Academy’s needs.

Beyond the spectacle that the Athletic Club of Bilbao offers us every two weeks in La Catedral, in the San Mamés Stadium, there are also other types of work of a journalistic nature. In this context, we find the press conferences.

All of them take place in a space located next to the field, which combines the red of the shirts with a great exposure of light that has been possible thanks to the large glass panels with which both its doors and windows have been designed. In the case of the doors, César A. Azcárate Gómez, ACXT architect, was clear.

KLEIN's UNIKGLASS+ hardware allowed false ceiling installation with doors weighing up to 150kg. In addition, its KLEIN Soft Closing (KSC) braking hardware managed to increase user comfort in an often tense space.
